Honeycomb Candy with chilli

Serves: bunch of people


  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the honey and water.
  2. Boil until looks like caramel (4-5 minutes).
  3. Add the baking soda, and with a wooden spoon, stir in gently it will foam up.
  4. Pour the mixture immediately onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, do not touch, sprinkle with chilli flakes and let cool.
  5. Break into pieces. They will be sticky so you can dip them in chocolate.
