The sweet and sour sauce that works well with pork, game meat, venison or serve with any dessert. —anka

  • Makes about 4 cups
Ingredients
  • 900 grams frozen black currants
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 100 grams water

Directions
  1. Place fruit in a saucepan with water and sugar.
  2. Bring slowly to boil, cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Let it cool slightly and pour into hot jars, put lids and turn upside down. Cool.
  4. Keep in the fridge.
