Strawberry rhubarb sauce

Makes: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 cups strawberry, cut into a quarters
  • 2 cups rhubarb. diced
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Clean and cut strawberry and rhubarb.
  2. Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar in a large pot. Let sit for 1-2 hours.
  3. Put on the stove and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
  4. Cook for 7-10 minutes.The sauce will foam up so be sure your pot is large enough, don't worry this will go away.
  5. Remove from heat, and let cool completely.
  6. Refrigerated for up to 4 weeks.
