Corn Biscuits

Serves: 3

Ingredients

  • 125 grams cornmeal
  • 140 grams regular flour
  • 8 grams baking powder
  • 2 grams baking soda
  • 120 milliliters oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. in a large bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients (cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt)
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir together until just combined. Don't over-mix them.
  4. Bake for approximately 18-20 minutes.
  5. Let them cool in the pan for few minutes and serve.
