An Asian spin on Kansas City-style barbecue sauce, this makes a delicious mop for baby backs or spareribs. —kikukat
Ingredients

ketchup

1/4 cup
hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons
rock salt

1 tablespoon
grated ginger

1 cup
sugar

2 tablespoons
sesame oil

2 tablespoons
liquid smoke
Directions

Mix all ingredients together. Use as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes about 4 cups.

One rack of baby back ribs will use 1/2-3/4 cup of sauce.
