Ingredients
  • 2 ounces rum (white is classic but any good rum works magic)
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce sugar syrup (1:1 ratio of sugar to water)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
Directions
  1. Blend with 1/2 cup to 1 cup of cracked ice until smooth. (If you like a thinner consistency, use closer to 1 cup.) Pour into large margarita or rocks glass, and top with Angostura bitters and a float of dark rum.

Used Bacardi Coconut instead of just plain white rum: Amazing!
Definitively a keeper!

Oh baby! Rimmed the glasses with Black Onyx Chocolate Sugar, from Savory Spice Shop, and floated a little cinnamon schapps on top. Delicious! Thanks for another great recipe. This is a keeper.
