Agua frescas are a great way to cool down when the summer's heat is at it's peak. Any kind of melon you can find will work as long as they're really ripe. This recipe was written by the Healthline Editorial Team: —Healthline

Ingredients
  • 2 large cantaloupe or honeydew melons
  • 5 limes
  • 1/2 gallon water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 mint springs
  • ice cubes
Directions
  1. Cut melons in half, remove seeds and rind and cut into chunks. Process melon, in batches, in a food processor or blender until smooth. Pour into a large bowl or pitcher. Cut limes in half and squeeze juice into melon mixture. Add 6 cups of water and half the sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Taste to determine if you need to add additional water or sugar.
