Author Notes

Serve these with fresh homemade hummus for a virtually fat-free appetizer. To give it a southwest twist, substitute chile powder for Greek seasoning and serve with fresh salsa. This recipe was written by the Healthline Editorial Team:http://www.healthline.com/health-recipes/pita-chips —Healthline

Hi! Had leftover pita from a work meeting and spent a pleasant couple of hours making chips. In the absence of a spray, I brushed w olive oil. Some batches were sprinkled w oregano and freeze dried shallots, others w an exotic mixture of gray salt, bergamot and "spices" ( a proprietary mixture). Delicious and saved me from having to throw out the pita. Thanks!
