I made this to bring to Christmas dinner this year and it was a HUGE success! I made triple the recipe and used a large sheet pan. The author did not include instructions to heat-treat the flour which is critical for edible cookie dough, but I found the instructions in another recipe. After freezing, I had a little trouble breaking it into pieces, so I was concerned it would be hard to eat. However, I stored it in the refrigerator until the next day and the texture was perfect. Adults and kids both were big fans. Not a crumb left! I'll definitely make this again; it's great to make ahead and transport elsewhere, and hits the right notes to please a crowd.
