Date and Comté Bites are my Ace-in-the-Hole when I'm scrambling, heading to a party, and need a dish that's delicious+simple. I strongly recommend sticking to salty, nutty cheeses like gruyere or comté to balance out the rich sweetness of the dates. —The Bee Lake

Slice dates lengthwise. Do not cut all the way through, leaving one end intact. Place one piece of cheese and celery into each date. Drizzle honey and a pinch of cayenne over each piece. Enjoy!
