Author Notes
Notes: French baguettes work best. Day-old can be used, but fresher is better. Make it real rich tasting by using half and half instead of milk. The first time I served this to friends I was asked where the syrup was. I just said dig in, it will rot your teeth the way it is. This one is a major YUM! We now enjoy it for any meal of the day. This is a major favorite of a good friend. Her husband regularly asks for the recipe with apples and raisins. —Kingochowdah
