My meatless version of the BLT is a PLT. The provolone is fried in a nonstick skillet with blackening seasoning. —Rebecca Neill
Slices of Smoked Provolone cheese
Slices of your favorite bread
Mayonnaise to taste
2 slices of Tomato

Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat until warm but not too hot. Sprinkle the blackening season in the skillet. Place the cheese on the seasoning. Sprinkle more seasoning on the top of the cheese so it is there when you flip it. Fry until it bubbles and the bottom is starting to brown. The longer you fry it the crispier it gets and the fat renders out like bacon.
Spread the bread with mayonnaise put the tomato slices on. Put the lettuce on. When the cheese is browned on both sides, put it on and enjoy. My Non-vegetarian friends love this as much as I do.
