Im a big fan of caramel and cheddar popcorn mix, so in my journey to avoid processed food in my lifestyle, I decided to do my version of it and you know what.... not bad. —Eatingcasual

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • Caramel topping
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Parmesan topping
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • salt'n'pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
Directions
  1. POP THE CORN KERNELS: Make heated oil in a saucepan. When the oil is hot pour it on the corn, coating it with oil and cover. Always keeping the lid and stir the pan until all the kernels are burst. Remove from heat and cool it down so its cold.
  2. CARAMEL TOPPING: Melt the butter and sugar in saucepan over medium heat. Add the popcorn when it is melted and coated with the butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon, eat!
  3. PARMESAN TOPPING: Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add the popcorn stir to mix with the butter. Do the same with parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with paprika, eat!
  4. You can also add maple syrup in the caramel, or end with sea salt. For salty, let your imagination go, substitute parmesan with lime zest, add some fresh herbs, garlic, curry powder, mexican spices...
