This recipe is made with cassava. An African staple food. You can get it from Asian shops known as mogo chip. It can be a substitute for potatoes. It is a source of carbohydrates. It's delicious, low in fat and protein. —Gina

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • Frozen cassava wedges
  • Vegetable oil, salt
  • 500ml water
  • Chilli mix tomato ketchup
Directions
  1. Poor 500ml water into a sauce pan and the frozen cassava, Add 1/2tsp salt.
  2. Cover and simmer for 12minutes. Drain and deep fry until golden brown. Serve sprinkling with chilli powder before serving.
