Preparation
Place bacon on cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil and place in preheated 400 -degree oven. Bake until crisp about 15-20 minutes Place on paper towel then crumble.
Mix waffle mix with buttermilk, water, vanilla, butter and crumbled bacon till smooth. Set aside while griddle heats up. When hot pour ¾ cup batter onto greases griddle and cook till done button comes on (I like my light brown and somewhat soft to the touch. Place on cookie sheet and put in 175-degree oven till all waffles are done.
.
In medium saucepan over medium high heat place brown sugar, butter and peanut butter whisk until all ingredients are incorporated. Add water and stir until mixed. Turn heat to medium and cook for 2-4 minutes then add fresh apple bananas coat well and continue cooking about 5 minutes remove from heat.
Place warm waffles on plate, spoon generous portion of Peanut Butter banana syrup on top and enjoy! I know Elvis the King would love the waffles anytime of day or night. With a large glass of ice-cold milk!
