  • Serves 4-6
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ripe tomatoes
  • Pinch sugar
  • Handful fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
  • Tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
In This Recipe
Directions
  1. Core tomatoes. Place in roasting pan. Bake 45 min. 350 degrees. F.
  2. Crush tomatoes. Scrape edges of pan. Add sugar if desired. Add oregano and olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake 1 hour more.
  3. Toss over freshly cooked pasta of choice.
