Author Notes

Making sorbet is one of the easiest tasks in the kitchen, and I am not just saying this! The beauty is that you get a delightfully refreshing treat. The only trick is to have the right amount of the three ingredients: fruit, water and sugar. The right balance of water and sugar in particular is the key to a successful sorbet! If there is more water than we need, the sorbet will become crystallised and not smooth, and if we don’t have enough sugar the same will happen. —Jasmina Gajic

What You'll Need
  • 300 grams strawberries
  • 300 grams raspberries
  • 100 grams blackberries
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 200 milliliters water
  • 1 piece lemon juice
  1. Pour water into a saucepan, add the sugar and keep on a low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Blend all the fruits into the blender, add lemon juice and dissolved sugar into it. Once all is combined transfer into a container that can go in the freezer.
  3. Leave it in the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving.
