Author Notes: It might sound like a weird combo but they turn out as these beautifully spiced, chewy snack bars that taste divine when smothered with your favourite dark or raw chocolate – perfect for when you’re in the mood for a chocolatey treat!Madeleine Shaw

Serves: 4

  • 1/2 Sweet potato, peeled & steamed
  • 4 tablespoons Tahini
  • 250 grams Dates, pitted
  • 100 grams Porridge Oats
  • 2 tablespoons Cacao nibs
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon All Spice
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 150 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Orange, zest
  1. Blend everything together apart from the chocolate and orange zest until fully combined
  2. Pour into a lined baking tray and freeze for 2 hours, remove and cover in melted chocolate and orange zest to decorate
