Author Notes: Sometimes all we fancy is a little treat. These Chocolate Hazelnut bites are one of my favourite things to whip up and the good thing is that they will last a week in the fridge. Madeleine Shaw

Makes 14

  • 100 grams hazelnuts
  • 200 grams dates
  • 2 tablespoons maple/date syrup
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons oats
  • 150 grams good quality dark chocolate

  3. Freeze for 1 hour until hard.
  4. Melt the chocolate, cut the bar into bite size squares and dip in the chocolate.
  5. Place back in the freezer to harden up.
