Beautiful color and a surprisingly fresh taste, perfect for poolside - Born to the Purple was born of a desire for a better limoncello cocktail. Mixing based on color alone usually isn't a good strategy but in this case ... a star is born! —ProfPessimist

What You'll Need
  • 2 ounces limoncello
  • 1/2 ounce Campari
  • 1/2 ounce blue curacao
  • 1 dash Peychaud's or Angostura bitters
  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice and then, working quickly, add each of the ingredients.
  2. Stir vigorously for at least 20 seconds and then strain into an old-fashioned glass with one large ice cube.
