Ingredients

1 1/2 cups
Dates

1/2 cup
Sugar

1 tablespoon
Flour

1/2 cup
Cold Water

2 teaspoons
Lemon Juice
Directions

prepare your favorite sugar cookie recipe. Be sure to chill dough 1-2 hours.

Roll out dough cut with cookie cutter.

Place mixture (amount based on size of cookie, I use about a tablespoon) in the center of a cookie press second cookie on top, crimp with fork.

Bake 350 degrees on lightly greased sheet pan or parchment paper for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
