This latte employs plant-based power from the likes of matcha and maca, which mingle with coconut milk and almond milk or creamer. For this version, I used Califia Farms Almondmilk Creamer to make it just a little richer. —Laura Wright | The First Mess

Ingredients

12 ounces
Califia Farms Unsweetened Almondmilk or Almondmilk Creamer

1 teaspoon
matcha powder

1 teaspoon
maca powder

1/2 teaspoon
tahini

1 1/2 teaspoons
coconut oil

maple syrup, to taste
Directions

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring the liquid to a strong simmer, whisking a couple times. Once it’s quite warm, carefully pour the liquid into a blender and slowly blend the mixture until thoroughly combined and frothy. Garnish the drink with a little sprinkle of sesame seeds of you like.
