Author Notes

Simply muddle blood orange slices with fresh mint or basil, add ice, add a touch of simple syrup, mix with Big Hibiscus Iced Tea or Exceptional Iced Tea (from Smith Teamaker: smithtea.com/iced-tea) then top with sparkling water and a lemon wedge. This drink is fantastic with muddled blood oranges, if you have trouble finding them you can substitute for grapefruit and add some squeezed lemon to brighten up the drink. You may need to adjust for sweetness to your preference. A perfectly refreshing iced tea recipe for summer.
