Greek Yogurt Tuna Salad

I love this healthier way to prepare tuna salad -- I really prefer it to the mayo version. —Freyja Balmer

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 Can Albacore Tuna
  • 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 3 tablespoons dill, chopped fine
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped fine
  • 1 scallion, chopped fine
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients well in a bowl with a fork. Serve on crusty toasted bread with sliced tomato.

Accidentally rated this 4 stars first time. Fat fingers. This recipe needs lots of tweaking. Way, way too much celery, dill and lemon for one small can of tuna and not nearly enough scallion. I will try this again because it sounds like a great idea. Next time I will use half a stalk of celery, 1 tablespoon dill (dill is very strong for my taste), maybe just a few squeezes of lemon (I used half a lemon and it was overpowering. All I tasted was lemon and celery. I only used a couple of tablespoons of Greek yogurt. Maybe more (the 1/3 cup called for) would cut the tartness of this recipe. And I may add another scallion. One just didn't make a difference at all. Thank you for the ideas.
