Easy, quick prep any time in advance then 15-20 minutes in the oven. Ever since my daughter went off to college she demands and expects this whenever she returns to visit. —Mac

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces 3 color spiral pasta, cooked al dente
  • 16 ounces fresh, shredded spinach
  • 4 cloves, garlic
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces Parmesan cheese
Directions
  1. mince garlic
  2. melt butter and saute garlic until fragrant in a deep walled pan
  3. add heavy cream, white pepper and nutmeg and simmer until reduced by half
  4. Add spinach and saute until fully wilted
  5. Combine in a deep baking dish with the pasta and Parmesan
  6. Sprinkle top with additional Parmesan and then bake in a preheated oven 15 minutes or until top is crusty and bubbly
  7. Remove and let rest 5 to 10 minutes

Oops! A bit vague about the shrimp. The uncooked shrimp is mixed in the cooked pasta along with the spinach mixture.

Looks great, and does the shrimp go in prior to baking?
