Olive Garden style simple breadsticks made with homemade dough, topped with melted butter and garlic powder. Served with a fast and tasty Alfredo sauce for dipping. —Dash of Amy

softened butter

flour

yeast

2 tablespoons
melted butter

1/4-1/2 teaspoons
salt

1/2 teaspoon
garlic powder

heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon

1/3 cup
Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon
garlic powder

3 teaspoons
flour
Directions
- Breadsticks

If using a stand mixer place all ingredients in the bowl except the 2 tbsp butter, salt, and garlic powder; set the mixer to setting #2 for 8 minutes.

Pull the dough out and smooth it out, then place back into the mixing bowl sprayed with cooking spray.

Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for at least one hour, or until double in size.

Sprinkle work surface lightly with flour, pull the dough out of the bowl gently and press into a large rectange.

Cut into 10-12 even slices, then place on a greased baking sheet rounding out the edges.

Melt the 2 Tbsp of butter and brush on tops of the breadsticks; sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
Serve with Alfredo sauce.

Place all sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium hight heat whisking constantly.

Allow it to get thick and bubbly, then remove from heat.
