Ingredients

3/4 cup
unsalted butter, room temp

1/2 cup
granulated sugar

1/2 cup
brown sugar, dark

eggs, whole

bananas, ripe, overripe is best

1/2 cup
whole milk

1-1/2 cups
all purpose flour

1-1/2 teaspoons
baking soda

1 teaspoon
kosher salt

1 teaspoon
vanilla

2 pounds
cream cheese
-
12 ounces
butter, soft
-
1-1/2 cups
powdered sugar

bananas, ripe but with firmness

1/2 cup
brown sugar

4 tablespoons
butter
Directions

Cream butter and sugar until light and airy 3-5 minutes

Add eggs one at a time, until fully incorporated

Add bananas, vanilla, salt, and mix
-
Add flour and baking soda and mix gently
-
Add milk, gently fold.

place in prepared baking dishes, bake until firm and springs back I baked mine on my smoker at 325 degrees for 1 hour

Brown Butter Frosting: Heat butter until it starts to bubble and brown, be careful to keep a close eye because it can change in a split second should take anywhere from 2-4 minutes.

In a mixing bowl whip cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and airy.

be very careful and gently pour the butter into the mixer and whip until smooth, airy and delicious! Set in fridge for 10-15 minutes.

For the Bananas: Melt butter, and saute bananas in brown sugar, deglaze with bourbon and set aside.

To assemble: Cake, frosting, bananas, Cake :) You can cut the cakes in half and more layers if you want too, go Bananas!!!! Be Creative!
