Ingredients
-
1 cup
lukewarm water
-
1 tablespoon
soft butter
-
1 tablespoon
olive oil
-
1/4 cup
organic sugar
-
1
egg
-
1 teaspoon
salt
-
1 tablespoon
dry milk powder
-
3 1/4 cups
bread flour
-
3 teaspoons
active dry yeast
-
2 tablespoons
melted butter
Directions
-
Place all the ingredients except the melted butter in a stand mixer, or bread maker in order.
-
For stand mixer turn to setting 2, and allow it to knead for 8 minutes.
For a bread maker, place on dough setting.
-
After 8 minutes, take dough out of mixer, spray the mixing bowl with cooking spray, shape the dough into a ball, and place back in the mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a towel, and allow to rise for 1 hour.
-
After one hour, take the dough out and place on a surface sprayed with cooking spray.
-
Shape into an oval and press down. Cut dough into 5 even strips, then cut each strip into 3-6 pieces, depending what size rolls you desire.
-
Use your hands to shape each piece into a roll, and set onto a greased baking sheet.
-
Brush melted butter on the top of each roll.
-
Bake at 375* for 20 minutes.
