Combine rice, oats, oil or butter, salt, and milk in a medium-sized saucepan over a medium-low heat. Once it starts to boil, reduce heat to a low boil. Continue cooking for 25 minutes or until all grains achieve a creamy consistency.
While the porridge cooks, combine berries and honey in a small saucepan. Start with high heat and then reduce to low once they being to boil, all while continuously stirring the mixture and gently pressing the berries to express their juices. The whole process will take less than 10 minutes.
Add the quark into the porridge and spoon well until it looks irresistibly creamy. Pour the berry mixture over the porridge, let stand for a couple of minutes to absorb, & enjoy warm.
