Moist Banana Bread

This is the most amazing and easy banana bread. It has been in my family for years and anytime I make it people beg for the recipe. It is so moist, sweet, and delicious. Enjoy!! —Sydney Nags

  • Prep time 15 minutes
  • Cook time 45 minutes
  • Serves 8-10
  • 1 cup unsifted, all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 cup mashed, ripe banana (about 2 bananas)
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
In This Recipe
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and spray baking pan with non-stick spray
  2. Stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl
  3. Add in the mashed banana, mayonnaise, water, and vanilla. Beat ingredients together with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes- 1 hour until golden brown. A toothpick should come out clean. Eat right away or freeze up to 3 months
