The best of both world's, chicken parmesan and pizza!! Start with pizza dough, top with marinara sauce, breaded chicken, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. A delicious and hearty pizza! —Dash of Amy
Ingredients

prepared pizza dough

chicken breasts

1/3 cup
Italian bread crumbs

1/4 cup
dry Parmesan cheese

1-2 cups
marinara sauce (Mezzetta)

1
egg
-
1 tablespoon
half and half

1/2 cup
fresh Parmesan cheese

1 cup
mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup
finely chopped fresh basil

1-2 tablespoons
olive oil
Directions

Place pizza dough in a greased 14 inch pizza pan.

Use two plates or bowls, and put egg and half in half in one, beating well to combine. In the other mix the bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.

Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, then the bread crumb mixture coating it well.

Heat a skillet over medium heat, and add the olive oil, then add the chicken. (Add more olive oil if necessary.)

Cook until brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes on each side.

Transfer to a cutting board, and cut the chicken in small pieces.

Spread the sauce evenly on the pizza dough.

Top with the chicken, then the cheeses, and then the fresh basil.

Bake at 425* for 12-15 minutes until cheese is browing and bubbly, and crust in crispy.
