Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl

Nuts, seeds, and greens are an energizing trio. High in hunger-busting, antioxidant-rich healthy fats, they also feature a wide spectrum of nutrients from which you can get most of your essential vitamins and some much-needed minerals (such as magnesium) in which many people are deficient.

  • Prep time 10 minutes
  • Serves 2
  • 1/3 cup Plain Protein Powder
  • 1 cup Plain Full-Fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 8 ounces Spinach or Kale
  • 1/4 cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Almonds
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Flaxseed
In This Recipe
  1. Place the protein powder, yogurt, water, spinach or kale, and almond or peanut butter in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, then divide between two bowls.
  3. Sprinkle the strawberries, almonds, and flaxseed in straight lines over the smoothie bowl. Serve immediately
