Crispy Sweet Potato Fries

Crispy, sweet and salty fries are my ultimate comfort food. This sweet potato fries recipe is Paleo, Gluten Free, minimum oil required, and extra crispy. —Shuang Shuang

  • Prep time 10 minutes
  • Cook time 20 minutes
  • Serves 6
Ingredients
  • 2 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice

Directions
  1. Boil sweet potato for 5 minutes (this make the sweet potatoes easier to cut, and also make them extra crispy)
  2. Cut sweet potato into wedges, nuggets or string fries
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix sweet potatoes, avocado oil and spices together
  4. If using oven-baked method, line the fries on a sheet pan, bake in the oven 400 F – 425 F for 30 minutes
  5. If using Air Fryer, put the sweet potatoes in frying basket, cook 380 F – 400 F for 15 minutes
  6. Enjoy it with your favorite dipping sauce
