Ingredients

1 tablespoon
peanut oil

garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon
chile paste

2 tablespoons
tomato paste

1/2 cup
chicken stock
-
1 tablespoon
sugar (palm or coconut sugar preferred)

1/4 cup
hoisin sauce

Thai red chile, thinly sliced

1/4 cup
roasted peanuts, ground

2 tablespoons
peanut butter, or less
Directions

Fry the garlic, chile paste, and tomato paste in the peanut oil until aromatic.

Add the chicken stock and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Add the hoisin, thai red chile, and peanuts. Stir well.

Slowly whisk in the peanut butter to desired consistency.
