One Pan Pasta

I changed the recipe because I wanted to take it to work for lunch this week. Since lunch is my biggest meal of the day, I tried to make it more substantial by adding Shrimp and additional vegetable of spinach —Liz

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Whole Wheat Linquine
  • 8 ounces cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces spinach
  • 1 pound 10-13 shrimp
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup basil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups veggie broth
  • 1.5 cups white wine
Directions
  1. add all of the ingredients into the pan except for the spinach and shrimp.
  2. Pour in the White wine and veggie broth and season with salt and pepper. Make sure the linguine is submerged in the wine and broth
  3. bring all the ingredients to a boil in a medium high flame. Note whole wheat pasta takes a little longer to cook.
  4. Cook until pasta is still toothsome. Once that is determined, add the spinach and shrimp.
  5. once shrimp have turned pink and the spinach has wilted. Remove from the heat
  6. once removed please add parmesan cheese, a touch of olive oil and salt and pepper as needed
