Author Notes

This pasta cooks easily in one pan (no need to boil the water first) and makes its own creamy sauce, in about 10-12 minutes. Great as a main dish or as a side with Chicken, Shrimp or Fish. Adapted slightly from Martha Stewart's One-Pan Pasta. —Mrs. C

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Linguine
  • 3 Roma Tomatoes, Diced into bite-size pieces

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, add linguine (should lay flat), tomatoes, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring and turning pasta frequently with tongs or a fork, until pasta is al dente and water has almost evaporated, about 9-10 minutes.
  3. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed, and divide among 4 bowls. Garnish with basil and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
  4. Enjoy!
