What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds skinless bone-in chicken pieces
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 red chilies
  • 1 onion, cubed
  • 1/2 green and red pepper, cubed (each)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste
Directions
  1. Cut all the veggies into cubes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add the vegetables along with the red chilies and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Take out of the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the rest of the oil and ginger/garlic paste. Fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken and all the spices and seasonings, fry on high heat for a few minutes. Then lower the heat, add a 1/2 cup water and let the chicken cook through until tender.
  5. Add the vegetables back into the pan and simmer for five minutes. Serve with bread or rice.
