green onions, sliced and divided (or use chives)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Poke potatoes with a fork. Bake potatoes in preheated oven for 1 hour

Meanwhile, place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain,crumble and set aside

When potatoes are done allow them to cool for 10 minutes. Scoop the flesh into a large bowl; discard the skins.Mash the potatoes. Add the sour cream, milk, butter, and cheese. Stir in the bacon, salt, pepper, and green onions.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
