Ingredients

1 cup
dairy free cheddar style cheese, shredded

1/2 cup
dairy free butter

2/3 cup
gluten free all-purpose flour

3 cups
dairy free milk
-
black pepper powder, to taste

nutmeg powder, pinch

salt, to taste
-
egg substitute (equivalent of 3 eggs)
Directions

Place a pot over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.

Add the gluten free flour and whisk until it forms a roux. Cook for 2 minutes until the smell of the flour goes away.

Add the milk in slowly, in small batches, while continuously whisking so that no lumps form.

Let the sauce thicken then remove from heat. Add the egg replacer, cheese and seasonings then mix well.
