Author Notes
This two ingredient buttercream frosting pretty much makes itself. It's lightly spiced, just the right amount sweet, has enough salt to make it interesting, and is as smooth and sumptuous as any buttercream but whips up in just a few minutes. —NatalieAnn
Ingredients
-
1
14 oz jar of smooth cookie butter

2
Sticks of salted butter, softened
Directions
-
In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine one jar of cookie butter (I use the Trader Joe's variety) with two sticks of softened salted butter.
-
Beat with a whisk until it is light and fluffy.
-
Spread on cookies (gingerbread are a wonderful pairing), use to frost a cake, or eat with a spoon.
