Author Notes
Named for local DJ, Jonathan Ackerman, this drink is made from ingredients you can find in any grocery store: kombucha, lemon juice, sugar, and water. The part that makes it special: a dose of orange flower water at the beginning and at the end. "It adds a silky banknote," says Marvel Bar general manager Peder Schweigert. And, you know, it's fun to spritz. Recipe by Peder Schweigert, Marvel Bar, Minneapolis, MN. —Food52

freshly squeezed lemon
-
1/2
simple syrup
-
3 ounces
water
-
2 ounces
plain kombucha
Directions
-
Transfer the orange flower water to a clean spray bottle. (You could buy a fancy cocktail atomizer, but we used a plastic travel-size mister.)
-
Spritz the inside of an ice-filled glass 5 times with orange flower water. Add the lemon juice, simple syrup, and water and stir well. Top with kombucha. Finish with two more spritzes of orange flower water to the exterior of the glass.
