1 bowl Squid 1 Tablespoon Curry powder 1 Teaspoon Turmeric 1 Salt 1 Onion 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste ½ Teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds ¼ Teaspoon Mustard seed ½ Teaspoon cumin Seeds

Cut clean and marinate squid with tumeric salt, curry powder
Add oil to pan and heat it on high
Add mustard seed
When mustard pops, add garlic and Ginger
Then immediately add onions
Then add fenugreek seeds and mix
Then add cumin seeds and mix
When the onions are slightly fried
Add the marinating squid and mix
Add water to the marinating sauce and…
Cover and simmer
Mix as needed
Add a pinch of grounded cloves and a cardamon
Let simmer to Lowe when gravy starts to thicken
Set low to thicken
Serve hot the Jaffna Calamari curry.
