medium shrimps, peeled and deveined

bay leaves

peppercorns
- Sauce

2 tablespoons
fresh ginger, grated

garlic cloves, grated

olive oil

1/2 teaspoon
honey

1/2 teaspoon
dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon
turmeric

1/4 teaspoon
cumin

1/2 teaspoon
lemon juice

2 teaspoons
grated lemon zest

1/8 teaspoon
black pepper

1/8 teaspoon
Aleppo pepper

Directions

In a bowl combine all of the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.

Cook the shrimp in boiling water with bay leaf and peppercorns until the shrimp turns pink - about 2-3 minutes.

Take the shrimp out, add to sauce and toss well.

Sauté the shrimp in a hot skillet for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
