Healthy Jelly for grown-ups. —Rie

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Matcha Powder
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
Directions
  1. Put all the ingredients other than heavy cream in a pan and mix well. Heat the pan over low heat and mix the ingredients until melt.
  2. Take off the pan from heat and cool it with iced water.
  3. Pour the filling in a container and cool it in a refrigerator for 1-2 hours until it has set.
  4. Take the matcha jelly out of the refrigerator and cut out the jelly as you like.
  5. Put the matcha jelly on a cup and serve with heavy cream.

What kind of matcha power are you using?

Thank you for your question. I have used ceremonial grade fresh matcha powder from Uji(city known for good quality matcha). Since only a limited number of ingredients are used for making my jelly, I would recommend that you get good quality fresh matcha powder that is bright green and has Umami flavor(savory taste). Hope it helps!
