Perfect refreshment for a hot summer day. You can also substitute lemon for lime.
Adding a squeeze of citrus juice to your cup of matcha could greatly increase the amount of catechins (antioxidants) available for absorption.
Vitamin C in the citrus juice give staying power to green tea antioxidants after digestion.
Paring matcha with the citrus juice is not just delicious but also very healthy idea which you can adapt in your daily diet. —Rie

What You'll Need
  • 1 teaspoon Matcha Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Water
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 4 slices of Lime
  • 1 cup Water
  • Honey to taste
  1. Melt the matha powder and honey in the hot water. Mix well until you get a smooth paste-like texture.
  2. Add the chilled water to the matcha paste. Mix.
  3. Add the lime juice to the matcha water. Mix well.
  4. Pour the lime matcha juice into a cupt and put the sliced limes in the cup. Serve with a straw.
