Easy and a peanut butter lovers dream. Comes together quickly with only a few ingredients. Frosting is not required but I love it with the smooth creamy not to sweet icing. —Loakes70

With electric mixer Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar til light and fluffy. Add both eggs and beat 2 minutes. Mix in flour and incorporate completely. Pour into greased pan and bake 30 ton35 minutes or til cake Pull away from sides slightly. Cool on cooling rack. If using icing and I do suggest see next step.
Peanut butter icing
Combine 1/4 cup softened butter, 1/4 cup peanut-butter and 1 tsp. Vanilla extract. Combine well. Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and mix. If I icing is to thick or not spreadable add heavy cream or milk 1 tsp at a time. Frost cake in pan. Can be removed from pan but I don’t.
