If there’s one thing I can be tempted by that is sweet & salty, it’s these salted caramel cake mix red velvet brownies that I make quite often since my first time experimenting with them 5 years ago. —Fork My Day

Ingredients

150 milliliters

1 packet
red velvet cake mix

28 grams
salted caramel sauce

154 grams
oreo biscuits (1 pack)
Directions

Preheat oven to 180° C/356° F/Gas Mark 4 and line a square baking with parchment. Roughly chop the Oreos and set aside.

Add cake mix to a medium mixing bowl, then add all wet ingredients to the bowl and mix until properly combined.

Fold the chopped Oreos into the mixture, pour into baking pan and add salted caramel, using a skewer stick or butter knife, make little swirls with the sauce making sure it in evenly distributed in the batter (see image above).

Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, insert a toothpick in the middle and if it comes out clean, then you’re good to go. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting and serving, enjoy!
