Decadent chocolate cake

A real chocolate cake that is vegan, gluten-free and still delicious... basically the perfect one! —Alessandra

What You'll Need
  • 160 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 120 grams Vegan butter
  • 240 grams Apple sauce
  • 125 grams Spelt flour
  • 180 grams Caster sugar
  • 1/2 Vanilla pod
  • 1 pinch salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 200° C.
  2. Put the dark chocolate and the vegan butter in a bowl and melt them together in the microwave.
  3. Add apple sauce, then spelt flour, sugar, vanilla seeds and salt and mix with a whisk.
  4. Grease a round pan with a non stick pan spray and spread the batter into it.
  5. Bake until firm, for around 18-20 mins.
  6. Let the cake cool completely and dust with cocoa powder.
  7. If you want, decorate with fresh blueberries.
  8. Your cake is now ready, enjoy it.
