Jam cookies —Eli Cizewski-Robinson

What You'll Need
  • Cookies
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/4 cup Raspberry Jam
  • Glaze
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  1. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt till fluffy. Gradually stir in flour till blended. (Could take a few minutes.)
  2. Once the dough begins to stick, form into a ball, then divide dough in thirds. On lightly floured surface roll each portion into 9” ropes. Place inches apart on parchment line sheet. With finger or a teaspoon make a depression down the center of each rope. Fill depression with jam
  3. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or till golden. Cool on cookie sheet.
  4. Blend powdered sugar and lemon juice and carefully drizzle over. Once the glaze has set, cut diagonally into 1“ cookies.

I assume there's a typo and not 1/2 tablespoon salt as an ingredient. Probably 1/2 teaspoon.
