What’s the shelf life on the product?
If a mold inhibitor was used - would that extend the shelf life?

I was so blazed after these gummies, I have weird allergies so I only did gelatin, warm water, and cannabis, it was perfect. Thank you.

I was very excited about trying these gummies but after I made them they did not turn out anything like the recipe said, first she said 1 gram of bud will turn into 256, 25mg gummies that math is way off. Another issue I had with this recipie was the after process using the everclear to add the "shell" just made the gummies a liquid and ruined some of my batch, also when blending the puree it only called for a 1/3 cup of mango juice but to blend a half pound of mangoes you definitely need more juice. Overall disappointment.

Hi Chaz,
I’m sorry this didn’t work out.
The gummies are dosed at 0.25 milligrams per gummy, not 25mg.
The Everclear at the end is a light coat, I’m not sure why they would melt unless the gummies sat in Everclear. You can also skip that step, but I find it makes a better finished gummy.
We tested this recipe several times but perhaps the mangoes we used were juicier.
I hope this helps.

I’m wondering how to do the tincture without a whipped cream canister? I have the hardest time making gummies!

The nitrous makes a really quick tincture. You can use an infused coconut oil or buy a tincture but to make it at home, this is the most efficient way.

Thank you, Vanessa. I subsequently purchased a whipped cream canister. I’m partial to using my home gro. I’ll let you know how it works!

Hi Pat,
You can make a "hot" alcohol tincture by adding decarboxylated flower to high proof alcohol in a mason jar, placing in a pot of water, and keeping the temperature below 170 degree F. I'm not sure on the cooking time as it's all guesstimates but I would do at least an hour

I wish there was more information on the calcium water. I purchased calcium carbonate to make my own but there were no real conversions to find anywhere. It references an Authors note about calcium water but I couldn't find it.
It's been about 2 hours and I have what sort of feels like a stiff jam. It does take delicious. I guess if it doesn't set up I'll try dumping it back in the pot and adding more pectin.

Hi there! This recipe was made with Pomona’s pectin which contains the calcium in the package. I’m not sure what kind of pectin you used, if all else fails and the gummies are too soft, you can always add the jam to a oat bar recipe.

I used Sure Jell pectin. In the end I just put it in a double boiler and added gelatin.

I’ve had no luck with Sure Jell. Gelatin will definitely do the trick. Try Pomonas sometime!

I LOVE me some Pomona's! I just made up a mad huge batch of jams and chutneys, all sugar-free, tasting delicious, with Pomona's. And I am very excited about making these gummies.

After consulting the Pomona's website, I found that the compound is actually monocalcium phosphate, aka calcium phosphate. I would advise that you do not use calcium carbonate or calcium citrate without first doing more research.
